We ask donors to give to their favorite charity or organization through us. For example when someone donates $100 they can request we help the places like the Ronald McDonald House and some other local organizations like Paxton Street Ministries, or even the local Humane Society. We make contact with the organization you have selected and find out what materials or supplies they need. Then the Growers go out and buy the supplies and materials the organization has on their wish list and then deliver them to the organization that day. If you don't have a specific organization in mind we can find a local charity or organization that needs our help for you. Every dollar you donate will go to the charity you choose, or one we choose for you. These funds do not go to support the operations of the Farm.
This is why we called it SHARING HOPE, donors get to give to their favorite charity and they also SHARE their donation with us in the form of a full day of community volunteer work for our Growers. Our Growers love to do this kind of volunteer work and it gives them a sense that the community needs them and they are valued. That is the HOPE we all have for all our Growers.
